Nicoletta Rosellini
Nicoletta Rosellini is an Italian singer, born on 27 april 1991 in Lucca, Tuscany. She started her musical path as a classical pianist when she was 7 years oldand joined her frst rock band as singer at the age of 15, moving her first steps on stage. She is trained as a rock/ pop singer.
Alterium
Alterium, Nicoletta's new power metal band, was founded in 2022 and has swiftly made its mark on the metal scene. With Nicoletta at the helm as both the songwriter and vocalist, the band is bolstered by the talents of Paolo Campitelli (guitars), Alessandro Mammola (guitars), Luca Scalabrin (bass), and Dario Gozzi (drums). Together, they have quickly earned a reputation for their magnificent performances, captivating fans across the globe with their powerful melodies and dynamic stage presence. Alterium frequently tours Europe and will also perform in the United States.
Walk in Darkness
Since 2015, Nicoletta Rosellini has been the frontwoman of the mysterious Gothic/Symphonic Metal band Walk in Darkness. Nicoletta is the only connection to the outside world, while the other members remain anonymous. Despite this veil of mystery, Walk in Darkness has significantly influenced the Gothic Metal scene. As a purely studio project, the band has already released four albums and is currently working on recording their latest masterpiece. With Nicoletta's evocative vocals and the band's extraordinary compositions, Walk in Darkness continues to captivate and fascinate metal fans around the world.
The Erinyes
The Erinyes are a symphonic metal band founded in 2022. The band was founded by three talented female singers: Nicoletta Rosellini, Justine Daaé (France) and Mizuho Lin (Brazil). The band name 'The Erinyes' comes from Greek mythology. The Erinyes, also known as Furies, are gods of revenge. The band is currently working on their second album.
YouTube Channel
In 2019, Nicoletta launched her own YouTube channel due to the corona crisis, when her concerts were canceled due to the lockdown. She focuses on covering famous and popular songs. In contrast to most other projects, the channel also shows other facets of Nicoletta's voice, as the covers are not in the metal genre. Her channel now includes over 30 covers and is heading towards the 1 million views mark.
Collaborations
Nicoletta has shared the stage with numerous renowned metal acts, including her memorable guest appearance with Rhapsody Reunion on their Farewell Tour and performing alongside power/prog metallers Overtures. Her dynamic presence has graced many prestigious European festivals such as Gods of Metal, Metaldays, SpazioRock Festival and Epic Fest. In 2024, Nicoletta became an official ambassador for Epic Fest, which she supports with her regular Instagram videos. Beyond her flourishing metal career, Nicoletta has ventured into pop music collaborations. She has worked with pianist Paolo Pagnani on his project White Circle and collaborated with the band Mortemia, showcasing her versatility and wide-ranging musical talent.
Kalidia
After numerous experiences in local bands, Nicoletta Rosellini became one of the founders of Kalidia (melodic power metal) in 2010. With Kalidia, she showcased her talents as a songwriter and lyricist. The band self-released a demo EP and an album, which led them to work with producer Lars Rettkowitz (Freedom Call, Victorius) and secure a record deal with the Swedish label Inner Wound Recordings. Since Kalidia disbanded, Nicoletta has continued her musical journey with Alterium since 2022.
Vivaldi Metal Project
In 2016, Nicoletta lent her voice to the debut album of the 'Vivaldi Metal Project', inspired by Antonio Vivaldi's 'The Four Seasons'. In 2018, she was invited by the project's mastermind, Mistheria, to join the live band. Together, they performed across Europe, captivating audiences in theater shows and major festivals, and released a live DVD. Nicoletta also features prominently on the 2022 album, continuing to showcase her remarkable talent.
